The diameter of the receiving hole of the Pivoting Door Holder Receiver # 37210635 is 9/16" of an inch. It is not meant to work on older featherlite horse trailers for the down window as a keeper, is it a replacement part for the Pivoting Plunger and Socket Door Holder for RV or Enclosed Trailer - 3" Plunger # 37210645.

I went out to our warehouse and took some measurements of the Rubber Socket for Plunger Door Holder # 37210404, and measured 1.63" for an overall diameter, a 1.16" inner diameter, and an overall thickness of 1.08".

The Bauer Products Steel Strike Plate # BA78VR and Negative Magnetic Door Holder for Compartment Doors # BA38VR has a 10-lb rating but that is doubled if you also install the Positive Magnetic Door Holder # BA58VR to 20-lbs. As long as your compartment door doesn't weigh more than 20 lbs when wet this solution will work just fine!

I went out into our warehouse and pulled a Plunger and Nylon Socket Door Holder # DH604 to measure it and found that the distance between the mounting holes is 1-1/4 inches.

I went to our warehouse and took some measurements of the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Holder # C31002 for you. The part is 6-1/2" wide and 12-1/2" tall. I used the digital calipers to measure the plate's thickness which measured 0.2". The part is made of a heavy duty steal with black, powder coating to resist rust and corrosion.
